This play has a vital theme and is everlastingly relevant. The main characters are curious and dramatic teens who live in a world of censorship and repression, making the play very real, relatable, depressing and yet also surprisingly comical. It is strong in content and message but lacks structure, which makes it a tad hard to follow. Well worth the read especially for any fan of the musical. (things are put in a different order and the musical changes the manner of some of the play’s characters and events)

- Moritz: Why did you scare me like that?

- Moritz: What did you scare me so horribly for?
- Ilse: I was in the city. I'm on my way home
- Moritz: I don't know what I lost
- Ilse: No point in looking for it, then.
